Lepojevic MVP of 12th Superleague round
Serbian Nikola Lepojevic put on an amazing game in the last round for Univ.Surgut, receiving a Eurobasket.com Superleague 1 Player of the Week award for round 12.
He was the main contributor (30 points, five rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Sakhalin (#6, 6-4) 85-83. Univ.Surgut is placed at 3rd position in Russian Superleague 1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Univ.Surgut will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Lepojevic had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Univ.Surgut, through which he has constantly improved. Nikola Lepojevic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.2ppg) and averages impressive 54.7% FGP.
